I started TV Mount Hero in 2018 because I'd hired three different TV-mounting handymen in two years for my own apartment and not one of them did it right. The first guy mounted a 55-inch into half an inch of drywall with no studs. It came down two months later. The second guy showed up an hour late and forgot his drill. The third one did okay work but charged me $80 in 'cable management fees' that I'd never agreed to.
I'd worked in construction and AV install for years, and I thought: I can do this for a living, and I can do it better than the people I just paid.
Three rules we still keep
Rule 1: flat-rate pricing, told to the customer before we start. Rule 2: we always find studs or use rated masonry anchors — every mount gets pull-tested. Rule 3: we never leave a mess. Drop cloths go down, shoe covers go on, vacuum comes out, drywall dust gets cleaned.
Eight years later, we've mounted 3,400 TVs across South Florida. Most of our work comes from word-of-mouth — a neighbor in a condo tower, a friend in a Pinecrest cul-de-sac, a Realtor who hands out our card at closings. If that's how you found us, thank you. If you found us on Google, also thank you — and we'll work just as hard to make you the next person who passes our name along.
