TV & Soundbar Install in Coral Springs — Done in Under 40 Minutes

A Full TV + Soundbar Setup, Start to Finish in Under 40 Minutes

This Coral Springs job is a good example of a clean, efficient install: a Samsung 65" Class QLED Q7F 4K Smart TV mounted over a soundbar, with every cable routed inside the wall so nothing is visible. Two of us handled the whole thing in about 35–40 minutes.

Here's exactly how our team works a job like this.

1. Height and Placement First

Before anything touches the wall, we ask the customer what height they want the TV at — and we give our recommendation based on the couch position, eye level when seated, and where the soundbar will sit underneath. Getting this agreed up front is what prevents the "can we move it up two inches" conversation after the holes are already drilled. Once we've settled on the height, we hold the mount to the wall and mark the exact position.

2. Finding the Studs and Drilling

With the position marked, we locate the studs the mount will anchor into, then mark and drill. In most South Florida homes the framing is metal studs rather than wood, so we anchor into them with the correct metal-stud hardware rather than relying on hollow-wall anchors — that's what actually carries the weight of a 65" panel safely. For this job we used an onn. tilting wall mount (50"–86"), which gives a bit of downward tilt for glare control. The full bracket-and-stud process is covered on our wall bracket installation page.

3. Routing Every Cable Inside the Wall

Once the mount is secured, we cut a discreet opening in the wall behind the TV for the cables, and mark where the soundbar will go. We then make a second small opening behind the soundbar location, so the HDMI and power runs drop down inside the wall and come back out exactly where they're needed — no cords showing between the TV and the soundbar, and nothing draped down to the outlet. Power is handled through an in-wall–rated path so it's done to code. This concealment work is the same process on our cable management page.

For the soundbar itself we used an Echogear universal soundbar mount so it sits at a fixed, level distance below the TV rather than resting on furniture. More on that on our soundbar installation page.

4. Hang, Center, and Level

With cables pulled and cable management done, we hang the TV on the mount and make any final adjustments. The last step is alignment: we center the TV over the soundbar and level everything so the TV, the soundbar, and the wall line up as one clean unit. Small thing, big difference — a TV that's a degree off is the kind of detail you can't un-see once you notice it.
