Short answer: yes. A Frame TV needs a specific no-gap wall mount — not the standard tilting or fixed bracket used for a regular flat-screen. Here's why, and what else changes.
Roughly 40% of our installs in 2026 have been Samsung Frame TVs. The art-mode design is gorgeous, and they look incredible flush-mounted — but they have install quirks worth knowing.
The One Connect cable
Frame TVs come with a single clear cable that runs from the TV to a separate One Connect box. That box has all the HDMI inputs, power, and tuner. Result: only one thin clear cable goes into the wall, not the usual bundle of HDMI + power. This makes cord concealment dramatically easier.
The slim wall mount
The Frame ships with a no-gap wall mount that holds it 0.5" from the wall. To use it properly, you have to mount perfectly level — there's no room to adjust after. We use a laser level on every Frame install for exactly this reason.
Bezel and overlay frames
Many Frame owners swap the stock bezel for a wood or beveled-gold overlay frame. These add ~0.25 inch of thickness and slightly change the visible edge — worth knowing if you're choosing a mount height that puts the TV close to a mantel or shelf.
Does it cost more to mount?
No. A Frame TV goes on the wall at the same flat-rate price as a regular TV of the same size — the no-gap mount and single-cable setup take more precision, not more time or a different price tier. What changes is technique, not cost.
