Over in Pompano Beach, our customer wanted the cleanest possible look for their living room: a TV on the wall, a soundbar right beneath it, and not a single cable in sight. Here's how we did it.
A wall-mounted TV with a floated soundbar
We mounted the TV flush to the wall, then wall-mounted the soundbar directly below it on a low-profile soundbar bracket. Floating the soundbar keeps the sound centered under the screen and clears off the media console below, so the whole setup reads as one clean, built-in unit.
Cables hidden inside the wall
The difference-maker here is the cable routing. Instead of a surface raceway, we concealed the power and AV cables inside the wall using a recessed in-wall kit, so the connections drop down behind the drywall and reappear at the console. The result is a completely wire-free wall — no cords, no channels, nothing to distract from the screen. It's the cleanest cable-concealment option when the wall construction allows it.
The result
From bare wall to finished setup, the soundbar installation took about 45 minutes — TV mounted, soundbar floated, and every cable hidden in the wall.
